The Springhurst Neighborhood in Louisville Kentucky is truly one of the best neighborhoods in all of the city. It has so much going for it! If you can chat a moment, I’ll tell you the whole story.
If there’s a better location for a neighborhood in all of Louisville, I’m not sure where it is. With quick access to Gene Snyder, then I-71, downtown is only 15-20 minutes away.
Of course, St. Matthews is the true heart of the city but if you’d prefer a little less congestion, Springhurst can’t be beat.
Hop on I-71 and you’re in Cincinnati in one quick hour. Lexington is just an hour away too! Once the new East End bridge is complete, then Indianapolis is 15 minutes closer at about two and a quarter hours.
Need to fly? Our airport is between 20-30 minutes away from Springhurst Neighborhood.
It’s a wonderful location, not too close, not too far. Just right.
There’s so much shopping in Louisville, as you would expect for a city our size. Two of our largest shopping malls, Oxmoor Mall and Mall of St. Matthews, are just 15 minutes away thanks to the new Westport Road interchange with the Watterson Expressway. Super close!
Want your shopping to be even closer? The Paddock Shops, forever known by locals as The Summit, is only two minutes away! This amazing outdoor mall really does have it all. Great lunch spots, fine dining, high-end retail, and the list goes on.
And where would you be without Target, right? Never fear, Target, Meijer, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, and a great deal more are also just 2 minutes to the South in Springhurst Towne Center.
So you see? It’s not true what they said, you really can have it all.
And where would we be without great entertainment?
Ready for a concert, show or ball game? Jump on 71 and you’re 20 minutes to The KFC Yum! Center that hosts a large number of events, including the University of Louisville’s home basketball games.
Are you hungry? Maybe you would enjoy a delicious meal outside overlooking the Ohio River at the Captain’s Quarters. You can even book a river boat ride on the CQ Princess from this spot.
Louisville is really making a name for itself with the addition of some great new restaurants. No one knows the local food scene like Steve Coomes. Check out his writings on Louisville’s best restaurants over at InsiderLouisville.com.
Perhaps you’re looking for a bit of outdoor entertainment? Did you know Louisville Kentucky is the City of Parks? We already have a large number of great parks, even many parks created by famous designers like Frederick Law Olmsted who designed New York City’s Central Park.
E. P. Tom Sawyer Park is a 550-acre park just five minutes from Springhurst Neighborhood Louisville Kentucky and boasts some incredible walking/running trails, tennis courts, playgrounds, a swimming pool and a whole lot more!
We really haven’t begun to scratch the surface about everything Springhurst Neighborhood has to offer. But if you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact me, I’m always happy to help!
